New Tenant in Bad Hersfeld: Periskop Logistics leases newly developed logistics facility to LINOVAG LADENBAU (EDEKA Group)
15.1.2026

The Periskop Logistics Fund has signed a long-term lease agreement with LINOVAG LADENBAU GmbH. The contract covers a newly constructed, ESG-compliant logistics property of approximately 10,000 sqm, located at “Berliner Straße 1 in Bad Hersfeld, Hesse.”
This property marks the second new development on the site. The location offers excellent infrastructure: situated directly on the A4 motorway, all major economic regions in Germany can be reached within three to four hours – Frankfurt am Main in just about 1.5 hours. A bus stop directly adjacent to the property also provides convenient access to Bad Hersfeld’s train station.
With this new development, the over 200,000 sqm site continues to be strategically expanded.
Dr. Kilian Mahler, Managing Partner of Periskop Logistics GmbH:
“We are very pleased to have gained LINOVAG LADENBAU, a renowned and fast-growing company within the EDEKA Group, as a tenant for our Bad Hersfeld site. LINOVAG’s commitment highlights both the attractiveness of the location and the long-term viability of sustainable logistics real estate.”
LINOVAG LADENBAU GmbH, part of the EDEKA Group, is one of Germany’s leading system manufacturers in shopfitting. The company designs, manufactures, and implements customized retail interior concepts and product presentation systems – particularly for the grocery retail sector. Numerous successfully completed projects across Germany underline LINOVAG’s long-standing expertise. With this new facility, the company is expanding its existing site in Bad Hersfeld and strengthening its regional presence.
Fabian Metz, Managing Director of LINOVAG LADENBAU GmbH, adds:
“The Bad Hersfeld location offers us the ideal combination of strategic logistics positioning, modern infrastructure, and a highly qualified regional workforce. We look forward to a strong partnership with Periskop Logistics and to taking the next step in our company’s development.”
The lease agreement was signed on a long-term basis. CBRE GmbH acted as the intermediary in the transaction.
The Bad Hersfeld site still offers further development potential for additional new buildings. Interested companies are invited to contact the Periskop Logistics GmbH team directly.
